Lava tube, Raufarhólshellir – Iceland
In the end of the winter, the water coming from the land filter through the ground and the cold air freeze it, forming huge ice stalagmites. To slalom between them without crampons becomes a dangerous exercise because ice covers all the surfaces and leaves no possible gripping. Silence and serenity surround the site, fantastic!
