All photos in this gallery were taken in apnea. This way allows me to explore inaccessible places such as remote lakes and rivers where many hours of walking are required. In addition, pressure variations brought on by the depth provide unusual sensations. By freediving, we dive, but sometimes it's a descent into ourselves that occurs and the memory card can be left blank.
I especially like letting myself sink in free fall and then gently surface shooting against the light. Crossing a group of manta rays that fly weightlessly and disappear slowly in this vast silent blue. I sometimes break the surface, wondering if I had not dreamed them...
